Happy Christmas Eve!

It is Christmas Eve! Santa comes tonight. I can't wait! Tonight I am singing a solo at the Christmas Eve service at my church! Do you like my outfit? Mom surprised with me it this morning! Hope you have a great day!

 It was the night before Christmas, Samantha and Uncle Guard picked out the perfect tree. Decorations were hung and carols sung with much glee. Samantha thought, "What a wonderful Christmas this will be!"

A surprise box!

 Hi, I was walking down the hallway this morning and I stopped because there was a box under the tree. Mom doesn't put presents under the tree this early.

 I sat down and looked at the box. There was a tag on the side that said from Santa. Open immediately.

 I took the lid off and an elf popped out! There was a note that said,
“This Christmas will be special; I’m so happy to be here, 
I’ve watched you from afar and in my heart you’ve grown dear. 
I made my way here with you as my guide, 
I am here to love you, to play and to hide!”

 I decided to name the elf, Ellie. She is so sweet, soft and huggable. She has blonde hair like me.

 She likes the Christmas tree and her outfit matches our decorations.

I think it will be a fun Christmas with Ellie the Elf. I'm glad Santa sent her all the way from the North pole. I will have to tell him in my letter I will take good care of her. Santa said he will get her on Christmas Eve so we only have a few weeks together. Do you have an elf come visit your house?

Happy Belated Birthday, Lily!

These are some pictures from my surprise birthday party on October 17th. Mom made me a cute owl shirt and when I came into my living room Chorus and Claire were there! It is so good to have such sweet new friends! Mom made me an awesome cake that was delicious! It was a great birthday! Thanks for looking!!

Hi! Lily Rose. Guess what today is? You guessed it! Halloween! I am making a treat to take to Claire's house because she is having a party!

                                              First you need Reese's and pretzel sticks! 

                                                            Unwrap a Reese's.

                                               Flip it upside down and stick a pretzel stick in it.

                                          Tada! A sweet and salty snack. A witch's broom!

                       Ok, I'm ready to go trick or treating with Claire before the party! I made                                   my costume myself. Do I look boooooootiful? I hope so!

Hello! Long time no see!

Hi, everyone! Sorry it has been so long! What a whirlwind the last few months have been! My mom and I moved 3 1/2 hours away from our old home. I am at a new school and have made new friends. My two closest are Claire and Chorus. I celebrated my 11th birthday on Oct. 17th. When I get time I will upload pictures from my party. It was great! Halloween is coming up next week and I am so excited. Can't wait to show y'all my costume. Well, that's all for now. Catch ya later!

LMPT Round #5- Anything Goes!

This is the final round of LMPT 2012. Lily Rose decided to bake some cookies this round. I had fun getting this picture set up to shoot.

LMPT Round #4- Solo

This round was pretty self-explanatory. Lily's favorite thing to do is ballet. She practices a lot in her spare time and I thought this photo portrays that very well.

LMPT Round #3- Out of this World!

I thought a star studded musical would be fun for this round. This picture was the most fun picture to do because I got to be crafty. I made stars by dipping construction paper stars in glue and then dipping them in silver glitter. I bought a yard of black fabric and hung everything up. Rebecca is in the musical and Lily Rose is head of costumes. She is making sure it fits perfectly on Rebecca.

This round was very difficult for me. I had a hard time coming up with something creative so I just came up with this:

It was actually very hard to get this photo to turn out like I wanted, but in the end it worked out okay. All I could think of was light versus dark so I hope this photo portrayed that.

Hi, Lily Rose is a contestant in this years Little Miss Playthings photo contest. I have had great fun coming up with ideas for each round. Every week when voting opens I will do a little blog about the picture I submitted. This week's round was weather and what kind of weather do we have in Mississippi in the summer? Hot, Hot , Hot with very little rain unless a tropical system heads up this way from the gulf. What is the best way to spend hot days outside, you ask?

Down to the River (or creek)

Hey, Lily here! Today mom said we could go exploring at the creek! She said when she was little she used to play here all the time! Today is pretty cold, but mom said that is the best time to go because you don't have to worry about snakes as much as you do when it is warm.

Ok, so follow me!

This tree is like a cave! I bet all sorts of animals sleep in here!

Isn't it pretty? Listening to the water is so peaceful. Mom says we can come back and camp when it is warmer. Maybe I can even go swimming!

I found a tree to sit on! Looks like a storm made it fall across the creek! Well, it looks like it is going to rain soon (or maybe snow!) Until next time!

The snowless snowman !

Hi! Lily Rose here! Today I am making a Poprcorn ball snowman!

These are the ingredients you will need: a large bowl of popcorn, decorations for snowman (m&m's, fruit roll up, toothpicks etc.) and the sticky mixture of marshmellows and butter!

First, you pour the mixture onto the popcorn. Then roll up your sleeves and mix it with your hands. Its very messy!

Next, make a large ball for the bottom of the snow man and then a little bit smaller one for the middle.

Then make a small one for the head and put it on top.

Then add the decorations and ta-da... the snowless snowman! :)
