Halloween!

Hi everyone! I was trying on my halloween costume to make sure it fits and guess what!?! A package arrived at the door.

So, I sat down to open it...

and... oh my! Look at all these goodies!

Hi! I am on fall break so today mom and I went to the Pumpkin Patch! It was a beautiful day with clear blue skies and cool temps. Notice how the pumpkins are all arranged into squares!

There was a lot of Indian Corn too!

There was a cool tractor I wanted to sit on but the sign said no climbing on the tractor.

Here is a cotton field that has already been bailed.

But look! I found a piece on the ground!

Warm up!

Hi! I know its been awhile, but school has kept me super busy! I thought I'd show you how I warm up before rehersal!

First, I see if I can balance with one arm and one leg in the air.

Next, I lift my back high in the air like a cat.

Then I sit with my legs stretched out and my arms as high as they can go.

Finally, I end in first position. Thanks for looking catch ya later!

Rolling on the River

Hi! I decided to show you one of my favorite places to come!

Its called the river walk. It is a great place to sit and relax
and just play.

See this rope? In the summer time my friends and I come here to play! We swing off the rope into the water! Its lots of fun!

See, isn't it a pretty view?

Mom decided she wanted to take my picture! hehe

Whats is that noise?

Oh, its the cars driving over the bridge. They make a clip-clop noise like horses running.

See the name on this bridge? CLEMMIE? That is my mom's name. Her dad put her name on there after she was born. There was a big flood and the water reached that high. This bridge is not used anymore.

Lily Rose is home!

One day in early August, Mia was deciding what she should do for the day. She suddenly heard a knock at the door.

She opened the door and to her surprise Lily was standing there. "Surprise", said Lily, "Mia, I'm home!!!"

Mia exclaimed, " I am so happy to see you! I have missed you soooo much this summer!"

"Well", said Mia. "Guess I've decided what I'll be doing today!"

Red runny nose....

Killer headache....

Hi. Its Mia again. Soooo I woke up with a good old fashioned summer cold. I am sneezing and coughing and have a fever. Mom says I have to stay in bed all day. I am equipped with everything I need though. Tissue, Nancy Drew book, Nellie, hot water bottle and my favorite pj's. Hopefully it won't last long and I can get out an play again. Lily wrote me she will be home soon. She has had a fun time on vacation and I can't wait to see what she brought me back from her trip!

Hi... Hope everyone's summer is going well! This is the new blog for Lily and I. Lily Rose is currently away but when she returns we will take some pictures and introduce ourselves further.
